an unprecedented camp hence came into being.
before its opening,
our sterling leader, a father of children, declared that
bluestar would never forget those cautious and conscientious workers,
and make sure the children were taken good care of.
our summer camp had no grades, no test scores,
since all of the children here were the best.
our camp had no fees, no tuition bills,
since these children belonged to bluestar, and were our responsibility.
with the approaching future, the fond hopes and dreams,
bluestar set off.
for the first time,
eleven children jumped to the grasslands with joy.
for the first time,
they were craving knowledge, and that has opened the window to the world for them.
the bluestar children were embraced by the vast expanse of grass blowing in the wind.
and the children got a pair of joyous wings for their hearts.
since then, the boundless azure sky began to be touched by the children of bluestar.
since then, the splendor and wonders were performed every summer.
i am still pleased with the hami melons in xinjiang,
and attracted by the shaolin martial arts.
i am indignant at the injured lions of marco polo bridge,
and amazed by the hangzhou bay bridge.
i am fascinated by the beautiful country scenes in guilin,
and proud of the rising china in aviation city.
the cultivation of good character and wisdom is bluestar's focus.
united, persistent and self-reliant.
self-disciplined, cooperative and progressive.
we start with ourselves to guarantee a frugal and secure future.
and the children have unconsciously benefited from every theme activity.
the children of bluestar have gone through hardships and difficulties in the mountains,
and meanwhile broadened the scope of their minds.
the children here also headed for korea,
and presented in the name of the motherland the flowers in full bloom for the volunteer soldiers.
at that moment, the soldier heroes heard a heartfelt voice whisper,
"the motherland will never forget you."
bluestar summer camp has sent out countless warm letters.
each and every line of the letters carry the long pent-up emotion towards mothers,

looking back, i find that bluestar has never ebbed from my memory.
when i went for different interviews and confronted the fastidious employers,
when i was granted the best debater award in my hands,
when i stood on the starting line of the provincial-level 100-meter race,
when i was pegging away at the college entrance examination and got a high score,
i knew the strength i got was drawn from my time at bluestar summer camp.
over the past twenty years, thousands of children came to our camp.
among the grown-up children,
some were enrolled in peking university to study law,
and some in tsinghua university to study chemistry.
one of them is pursuing his doctor's degree in the u.s. now,
and is about to come back and work for bluestar.
another one of them is planning to run his own business,
and start from scratch like the elders.
in a season with flourishing blooms and luxuriant leaves,
bluestar gives us gratified smiles.
