the "method and device for treating and recovering silicon tetrachloride slag slurry generated in the process of polysilicon production" developed by the institute employs the continuous drying technology with the positive-pressure blade evaporator as the major equipment; it has successfully solved the problem related to the generation of a large amount of silicon tetrachloride and the slag containing such impurities as si, fecl3, cucl2, bcl3, pcl3, and alcl3 during polysilicon production. with the patented method and device put into use, the emissions of the tail gas and slag fluctuate very slightly, and the tail gas is free of dust, which effectively avoids the trouble of frequent cleanup after the subsequent recovery system is plugged up in polysilicon production. in addition, the system runs stably, is easy to operate, and thus is more suitable for large-scale operation. in terms of energy saving and cost reduction, the power consumption is reduced by at least 75%, and the steam consumption is reduced by 50%. with an obvious energy-saving effect, it has a processing capacity which is 4 times greater than the existing technology. the equipment cost is only 17.5% of that of the imported equipment, which greatly reduces the cost of investment of enterprises and increases their profit margin. it can be said to be the upgraded version for the existing imported intermittent disposal technology. at present, the technology has been put into industrial application in such enterprises as jiangsu zhongneng silicon industry, tbea xinjiang silicon industry, and shaanxi nonferrous tianhong ruike.

the other patented technology "wet tail gas dehydration tower" originated from the development of the hydrogenous coal drying technology. the technology has successfully tackled the problems in the existing routine wet dust removal, cooling and dehumidification technology. in other words, though by the existing technology some water vapor can be recovered, the recovery is costly and involves big technological difficulties; the washing and cooling towers of the key equipment are liable to be plugged up, and a number of them are needed to finish humid tail gas treatment; moreover, the equipment occupies a big space. however, with the patented technology put into use, clean recovery of the evaporative water in coal is achieved through the integration of cooling and dehumidification, flash vaporization, steam stripping, vacuum condensation. the new system has the absolute advantages of being easy to operate and energy-efficient. in the regions with rich coal resources but facing long-term serious shortage of water in china, such as inner mongolia and xinjiang, in particular, this patented technology developed by the institute can provide high-quality processed water for the coal use projects in north china, such as those of power plants and the coal chemical industry, and effectively relieve regional shortage of water resources. this technology has been promoted and applied in such enterprises as inner mongolia yintai group co., ltd., lanlian catalyzer, and china resources power.
