the national pressure swing absorption and gas separation promotion center is a subordinate institution of the southwest research & design institution of chemical industry. the center has made great breakthroughs in technologies related to pressure swing absorption such as adsorbents, special sequencing valves, automatic control systems and process engineering. the research into adsorbents, in particular, plays a decisive role in the domestic market. the automatic control research adopts a dcs distributed control system, a world-class new technology. the center has developed and produced varied special sequencing valves that meet advanced international standards. it is the first in the world to successfully develop macro-scale hydrogen production technology, which involves pressure swing absorption through vacuum pumping and desorption. after that, the macro-scale pressure swing absorption decarburization technology was developed, and a separation process with high recovery ratio and high purity of co2 was achieved.
